Hello! I was at a Meet and Greet in Berlin and we did not have "Early Entry to Venue" and the Meet after the two and a half hours of waiting on the stairs .. lasted 30 seconds! It spoiled the impression of the concert. Maybe I deserve to get some money back or apologize?

well peeps here`s a quick review of what went down at the Berlin "meet and greet" which was really disappointing and turned out to be a huge rip-off , or how i called it "the 250$ ,10 second photo"

so the event was scheduled for saturday prior to the show.
on friday i recived a email saying to not arive later than 6pm.
so we show up ther at 5.30.
6pm nothing happned, no informations at all , no questions answerd as well.
6.45, the security guy showing up and started checking the list of all the "vip package" guys.
6.55 they opened the door for us ( WOW thats what i call "early entry tu the venue, 5 minutes before everybody else), and told us to wait nearby the merchandise stand till 8.30pm,remember the show was scheduled for 8.pm o.0
you can imagine what this ment to the guy with tickets for the floor, last row in stead of front row.of course they asked if they could be escorted to the front row after the meet and greet, just to hear "sorry,no chance"
we ended up sitting on the cold stairs in front of a room for nearly 2 hours, with still no informations given,or any service provided.
8.40 they opened the door, and after everybody was in, a random guy showed up, told us that we have to put our bags to the side, and go empty handed ,one by one to the next room and meet nicki, and that she won`t sign anything.to the question why this whole "meet and greet" is happening practically without any organisation, we just get the answer " i don`t know,"
as you can imagine everybody was pretty pi**ed and upset.
so it started, and we all just get rushed throug a stopid backroom, saw her for maybe 10 seconds, and got pushed out of the room again.
ohhh, i forgot to mention, she came up with the basic "hey what`s up, how are you" which i replyed with " nothing, not that good" just to get no reaction ,and pretend like i`ve said nothing.
after the whole thing i was even more pissed, cause it really felt just like a rip-off and i don`t really got the chance to talk to anybody there about the whole thing.

so i hope this little recap could prevent you from buying this "upgrade" , cause its more a "downgrade" and ruined what was supposed to be a great weekend.
i was in such a bad mood, the show felt pretty weak and hearing nicki say " thankyou for your support and love, thanks for comming out. i really appreciate" was like huge slap in the face, couse she showed no sign of appreciation or sorrow for the horrible treatment we recived at our "meet and greet"

Thanks for nothing Nicki! if it was your intention to spoil your fans , well than i would say "mission accomplished" , i`m not going to ever again spend a cent on you or anything related to you !

    1. COPENHAGEN - VIP MEET AND GREET

      *** I HAD A BLAST !!! ***

Honestly - people should MODIFY their expectations of MEET and GREET packages.

You are NOT going to become Nicki's best friend. She isn't going to hang out with you. She isn't going to invite you over for dinner. You literally get a quick photo with her - and some quick banter. If you are expecting ANYTHING more - than you are VERY DELUDED. That problem lies within yourself - not anyone else.

Do you honestly expect to get 5 minutes with Nicki??? Yes - a 10 second photo op is essentially what you get. It's what you DO with the time to make it memorable, that counts. My time was around 2 minutes. I was courteous and respectful, which is one of the main reasons I had SOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!

This event was scheduled for Monday 11th June.

I along with other VIP upgrade-ies (around 22 of us) received an e-mail saying NOT to arrive later than 6pm. To be on the safe side - I arrived at 5.30pm. I hate waiting around, but that's a character trait that I own.

There was no GROUND CTRL Box Office. Which caused a bit of confusion - but then, the Box Office people later erected a desk, where the VIP people received green arm bands.

We were told that the Meet and Greet with Nicki was to take place AFTER the show. I was a bit concerned with this - as I thought Nicki might be too exhausted to give 100% to her fans, after giving her ALL on stage.

We were then ushered in - and were granted early entry into the venue.

We literally had 15 minutes BEFORE general admission ticket holders were allowed in the venue.

NOTE: You should use this time wisely, and select standing (and sometimes seated) positions that would be MOST beneficial to you. I chose the seats on Level 1 - as you had a clear view of the stage. I would recommend that VIP people do the same. You could rock up to the front of the stage, but during the concert, the general admission people could easily slip in front of you during the concert. Hey - it's a concert after all.

A Steward at the venue told us that Nicki changed her mind - and wanted to do the Meet and Greet BEFORE the show. I was instantly relieved - because this way, we got to see Nicki glammed up (and not looking too casual) - before she hit the stage. She would also have LOADS of energy to meet us, before she went of stage.

When it came to MY Meet and Greet - Nicki was radiant and beautiful. She said... "Where my Kens at" - and called me "Sweety Pie".

I asked for a quick hug - and she said "Sure"!!

      BLISS.

My time with Nicki was around 2 minutes - because of the interesting things I SAID, and the amount of respect that I showed not only to Nicki - but the photographers. I was cool, calm and collected. However, I believe that Nick could see that I was gushing on the inside!! She asked me where I was from (I travelled from overseas - and am a LONG way from home), and that she loved my accent. And my POSE with Nicki Minaj had ALL the photographers and Nicki - in absolute fits of laughter. I thanked her for her time, and said I love her work.

The concert was AMAZING - and Nicki is respectful to her fans, and is a beautiful stunning woman.

      RECOMMENDATIONS:
Roll with it. Nicki can change her mind about WHEN the Meet and Greet will happen. Adapt and move on.
VIP's are a GAMBLE. I took the gamble - and IT PAID OFF. Next time - my VIP experience could be horrid.
Ask her for a hug FIRST. If she says OK - then you are good!!
Lower your expectations. If you expect a LONG CONVERSATION with Nicki Minaj - you will be disappointed. As the general admission fans would KILL for your opportunity.
Be patient. The VIP experiences are VENUE SPECIFIC. One venue is more organised than another. That's a gamble. That should in NO WAY reflect on Nicki herself.
Be respectful to the Star. Don't scream at her! Smile (even though your encounter beforehand MIGHT have been harsh), and she will see how happy you are to meet her. That's when she'll want to chat more to you.
      Be fun and interesting.

      ===========================
ohhh, i forgot to mention, she came up with the basic "hey what`s up, how are you" which i replyed with " nothing, not that good" just to get no reaction ,and pretend like i`ve said nothing.
      ===========================

I'm sorry. What did you EXPECT?? She's not a mind reader!! She had NO IDEA that this was happening to you! Did it ever occur to you, that she was merely waiting for you to come meet her. How was Nicki suppose to reply to you when you said NOTHING!! If I was her - that's EXACTLY how I would have reacted. I can TOTALLY understand that you were angry - but don't take that out on Nicki. If you smiled and chatted more - you would have gotten MORE from your VIP EXPERIENCE.

In a nutshell - the VIP experience can be broken down like this:

Have realistic expectations. Be patient. Be respectful to Nicki and others. Some venues are organised Some are NOT!! The venue should NOT be a reflection of Nicki herself.

      I HAD AND AMAZING TIME!!!!

*** WHAT IS TAKING SOOOOOO LONG WITH THE PHOTOS BEING UPLOADED !!!***

Come on Ground CRTL!!! Rhianna has her photos up the NEXT DAY!!!!!

okay just to get this straight, i really have had no high expectations.
when i saw her , i had a smile on my face and showed not even slightly that im totaly pissed. i´ve not expected to talk to her for minutes or so, but the way everybody was rushed throug this backromm, was simply a mess. once again for you bro, we have to wait behind a black curtain, than the guy pushed one by on into the room,as i enter the room i was basicly pushed to her side, the photo was taken , she signed my vip pass and the security guy puled me to the exit.
the only high expectations i had,was about the show , but thats maybe cause` i`ve seen , drake, jay z & kanye lately.
we`ll its nice that you`ve got such a nice experience, take it as your lucky day, and oviously she was in a good mood this day. on our m&g she wasn`t and it has a bad taste of rip-off.

    1. OK.

      No worries.

I understand that YOU had a bad VIP experience - but to persuade people to NOT buy them, because YOU had a bad experience is wrong!! Every experience is different - and it doesn't mean it's going to end up like yours!!

The VENUE should be held accountable. Not Nicki. Not anyone else. The Venue.

If I listened to you - I wouldn't have had the AMAZING experience that I had.

It's a gamble peeps. A gamble. Just know that you can't control everything - just your attitude towards it.

NOTE: I saw Kanye West and Jay-Z in Dublin! Good show.

AGAIN: Come on Ground CRTL!!! Rhianna has her VIP photos up the NEXT DAY!!!!!

well , yeah you`re right. everybody should decide for his self if its worth spending 250$ for a gammble.
if someone would have told me that its all just to take a picture i sure would not have buy this.
and i also have had a great vip experience,`seen Fergie in NYC,and it was FREE.
the only thing we had to to was ariving at 9am @ macys. recived a framed picture instantly and could talk a few words with her, maybe its also because of that experience that i was so disappointet by the whole nicki thing.but of course also because of the bad treatment we get.

Actually, it was Nicki's management's fault. At last night's meet & greet in Amsterdam we were told that the meet & greet would take place before the show (which would start at 8 pm) and that we wouldn't be able to stand in the front row. The meet & greet HAD to take place before the show because her management wanted it to. No one tried to arrange anything for us but I thought that meeting Nicki would be worth not standing in the front for. All of the sudden at 8:05 we get to hear that the meet & greet would take place after the show after all, even though her management made it into a huge thing that it would have to take place before the show.

We were basically standing all the way in the back for nothing, it was just not organized at all. After the show we had to wait an hour and a half before we finally got our meet & greet, we didn't get anything signed and the meet & greet literally lasted 10 seconds. I'm not even that upset that the meet & greet was so short, but the fact that she wouldn't even sign our cd's and that we were standing in the back during the concert for NOTHING just upsets me so bad. We paid 250 dollars for this and 60 dollars to get a lithograph shipped which we all still don't have and I don't think we'll get it anytime soon.

I'm sorry that everyone's VIP experience have been both hot and cold. I've been forwarding your reviews and comments on to the proper people. In regards to the upload of pictures, it's dependent on the VIP coordinators internet access at the venue. They will get the pictures posted as soon as they can!

Actually Rihanna, first time I had Meet & Greets with her on the Last Girl tour, our photos were uploaded while the show took place, so by the time we got to our hotel, the pictures were already online, 5 different sizes to download

When I met her again last year (both times in London, I traveled from Greece) you posed for pics (always individually, even if you were with friends - unless you asked for it) and bu the time you went back at the waiting room, there were two Live Nation employees who showed me my pic on a laptop, and if I liked the pic (I did) they then copied it on a special USB which you got to take home.

So both times you left the venue with your pic ready.

And that's the only way it should be, in the age of Facebook and social media,
a moment is NOW, and a pic, days after the meeting happened is a bit like food that's gone off, no?

I had a Meet & Greet with Nicole Scherzinger in February and while it wasn't fun that she wouldn't take her sunglasses off (grrrrr!) for the pics, it was greatly organised.

I am going to the Milan show, again traveling from Greece especially.

Hope I am not let down, as I am in love with Nicki's work right now!

To recap, early entry and single pic with Nicki should be the given thing.

I am reading negative posts and reviews for days now, shouldn't any problems be already fixed by now?

I would understand bad organisation for the first few dates, but to be on tour for weeks now and still have issues, is not very nice.

Live Nation are so much better at these things.

I am traveling from Greece just to see Nicki in Milan, I will be very disappointed if I don't get to be front row or have my pic with random people. I don't care about the rest.

But Front row / Early entry and a proper pic should be the norm.

Can you please inform the tour people NOW as opposed to after people post complaints so that at least some people get to enjoy their packages?

It's no use complaining after the moment has passed.
    Do something now!

I only saw ONE hot comment so far.
Everyone else has posted dreadful reviews.

And the sad thing is, one person's bad Meet & Greet is also the same for the whole group.

I mean, if one person didn't get Early Entry it means all the VIPs got the same awful treatment.

    Can you please fix this?

I'm going to start by saying nicki is my favorite artist after Rihanna & I will not tolerate any bullshit. I'm 15 & had to spend $250 for my VIP package so I will be furious if things don't go as they are supposed to.

I've been to VIP to nicki before & I got a minute with her, 2 things signed.

I went to her Philly signing & waited 11 & a half hours & didn't meet her because of assholes at fyes.

It says clearly in the description early entry & a autograph. If I don't get that I will want a full refund because that is false advertisement which is illegal.

To all you people saying 'what do you expect? Nicki to become your friend? get over it my meet and greet was great yahoo blah blah blah!!!' can i just say that you're being extremely narrow minded considering you were not the ones who were robbed, like us fans in Australia.

I've heard it more than once - 'yea but you guys were the first country on the tour so it was ok for it to be unorganised.' No it wasn't. While the organisation of the whole thing may improve as the tour goes on, what about us that never got the experience we paid for? It's over for us and we won't get that again.

Yea so good on your for loving the m&g, but don't criticise us who had a problem with it, just because you had a blast.

    1. Izabelle.

My opinion was NOT a criticism towards you at all.

My criticism was aimed at people thinking that a Meet and Greet - was the opportunity to spend about 5 minutes with Nicki. Some people TRULY feel like this. I laugh at them.

If you are ANGRY about your Meet and Greet - then you are allowed to be angry. No-one said you couldn't be.

Like I said - MY Meet and Greet was great. Yep - awesome for me.

Your Meet and Greet was bad. I'm really sorry about that.

Don't take it out on me - or Nicki Minaj. Blame the VIP coordinators and/or venue.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience.
