I'll cut to the chase. You're an inspiration. You're my motivation. Once, you said, '"Find out what you need and ask God for that. Speak that into existence." Well, I'm speaking it now. I'm finishing up my Paralegal Studies degree at the University of Memphis. Upon completion, I'm GOING to attend Emory University Law School. I'm an active member of the University of Memphis Mock Trial Team. I compete as a lawyer and a witness. As a lawyer, I get to live out one of my dreams. I'm a strong and self-assured attorney. As a witness, I live out a piece of another dream. I've always loved to perform. I'm not the best singer, but I love to write. After my guy friend gave me Beam Me Up Scottie, I realized that rap was something I could use to express myself. I love your attitude, animation, and solid delivery. I want to make my sound have little pieces of your strong points with a huge dose of me and my personal inspirations. Two days ago, I finished my first WHOLE rap song. It's on a Paris Morton Music instrumental. If you could hear it, I know you'd say, "Great job, Barb!" just because you love me. It's not the best, but it's my first step. It's a step I was no longer afraid to take because of your strong example. I'm not just a fan or admirer. I'm a little sister looking at her big sister and saying "Thank you."
P.S. I know everyone's gonna try to compare me to you because you ARE a huge influence on me, so the "Thank You Nicki" song will be on the second mixtape. That's the one I want you to hear! Gotta step my COOKIES UP before you hear my work! MUAH MUAH MUAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
