Okay so, I got a coach from Bournemouth to London at 3.05am without having any sleep the previous day. I got there at 5.55am without knowing which hotel she was staying in. I walked around Green Park and Knightsbridge searching for hotels which she could be staying in. After 5 hours of searching, I thought I'd make my way to the Radio 1 Extra station where I stood for a while until the security asked me what I was doing, I said I was a big fan of Nicki and he got proper shitty telling me Nicki wasn't there that night, when I knew damn well she was. But knowing that I obviously wasn't wanted- I made my way to a cafe. Whilst I was in the cafe I got a text from a fellow barb telling me which hotel Nicki was staying in. I made my way there and got there for 12. I waited around the hotel for hours, seeing her cars drive past... about 50 times. The guard outside was amazing, he kept me company most the time and was hilarious. He told me she wouldn't be coming out till 7ish. But I was determined to stay there until she came out. Around 6ish other barbs started showing up. They put out the barriers and I was out the front with my CD and camera waiting for Nicki. At 8, the girls in front of me got a DM on there phone- it was from Martin, Nicki's Manager, he had told them he would get them to meet Nicki. Annoyed me a little how I had waited for hours but being genuine and real I was extremely happy for them and unlike most of the people that were there I wouldn't hold a grudge, so I continued to wait where I was. Hours passed, I had major frost bite and I was still there... it was obvious she wasn't coming out, fans were running from the back of the hotel to the front. It started to die down a bit, as people were starting to say she had left. I stayed until 9.30ish. As soon as I left, People tweeted how she wasn't actually gone, it was a fake. I had waited there from 12. I was absolutely gutted. I left literally unable to walk, my joints were completely frozen up... even now its painful to move them. I did this all for Nicki, I know hopefully, if she hasn't forgotten about me, I'll be meeting her backstage later this year. Just thought I'd share that experience with all of you. xo
