CRAZY People/Reasons- Wise Up
I don't think people understand why Roman (SN: One of Nicki's Alter Ego's for you new Barbz) is so popular! Some people don't understand or can't comprehend the exotic nature that is Roman and some people just can't handle it.
Roman is popular because he says every little thing that you've wanted to say to someone who seems to always (SN: Excuse my french) shit on your day. He expresses the stress, anxiety and (SN: Excuse me again) shitty-ness people bring to that day. He isn't afraid of how people will react because he doesn't care. We, in this society, care sooooo much about what people think about us even when sometimes beg to differ. We depend on opinions and base our lives off of others and tend to reflect those around us. If we would finally just stop caring so much about others emotions and if we did focus our energy on just what exactly we feel no strings attach and no guards up you would get...Roman.
He's so care-free and it's uplifting for people out there (including myself) to have someone who is as equally crazy (if not crazier) than what we are out in the world. It makes us feel as if we aren't the only ones who think the most random, rude, things in the world. Even the innocent ones have their moments. Everyone has a moment. Roman is a way to just beat the (SN: Excuse me again) shit out of our anger towards anybody in our lives who brings us a down even for a mili-second.
People hate on Roman out of their lack comprehension of the character. It shows a lack of comprehension in their own lives as a matter of fact. We can't fully understand ourselves until we understand all the sides of us. That's what alter-egos are! They are other sides of a person that we can't be or are scared of being because of judgement. In turn, we tend to hold back ourselves and in a way Nicki (as well as others around us and other celebrities) is showing us not to hold back.
Don't lose your potential because of your fears.
Don't let fear blind your true potential.
Be you, all of you.
And in turn others will love you for who you (truly) are.
