AND IN THIS CORNER...
Yesterday I witnessed one of Azealia Banks fast coming rep as a beef queen. She went at Lil Kim after failing to get her to work on collaboration.
Banks went further to call out lil kim for not writing her own raps:
"Okay so true tea is that Lil Kim got mad that I wrote a verse for her on a record I wanted her on.
Everyone knows Lil Kim doesn't write her own raps and I saw this as a faster more efficient way of getting the track done.
She then had her assistant write me some long ass offensive email about how Lil Kim
writes her own raps and doesn't need anyone's help
So..... My question was and is still... IS SHE DOING THE TRACK?
Who cares about what you use to do.... WILL YOU DO THE TRACK??!
All this extra shit is stupid. Keep closing your own doors ma. @lilkim
There is no beef. At all.
@LilKim all the time it took u to get ur team to issue a press release bout this YOU COULDA WROTE THE VERSE!!!"
Banks even threatened to leave twitter. (sidenote: Y’al remember Nicki Minaj left twitter at the beginning of April). Is it me or is Banks doing a lot of Nicki Minaj moves. Needless to say Team Minaj was greatly amused. “Lol teamlilkim does have some weak disses tho,” she tweeted “Lol team minaj has newer, more updated insults. #cyberbullies.” Beefing with Kim and tryna delete her account?! I think she needs to concentrate on her music. 50 cent is the only rapper whose beef gave him a step up but it was those same antics that got old, while his music got no better and left him in the sidelines. Either way a new era has dawned the old ‘legends’ – ‘lil Kim’ need the new talent to keep them relevant; and of course the new talent needs the legends to get them noticed. I suggest both Banks and Lil Kim play nice and help each other make good music.
In other relevant news Nicki Minaj’s Pepsi commercial was released today!
